When I grew up, my neighbour had a tiger. I was in a state of constant fantasy that I'll have my own when I was all grown. Aaaaaaaaaaand the government suddenly banned the felid as a pet. It was already endangered. And right now it seems they won't last another 10 years, at this rate

Been a tiger geek, enthusiast and conservationist since I started to work at 21. I had my own salary and decided to use it usefully. I've donated regularly to the tiger conservation fund and even went as far as adopting two tigers.

And I wonder if the tigers I'd adopted are still alive. I've only met one of them. And I haven't flown down there in 4 years. I bet all reserves are empty, already a poacher's paradise. The government is just incompetent. Sometimes I just hate my country of origin

1400 tiger left; PM to seek states' cooperation

The picture on that page just agitates me.

Too bad about tigers being endangered. Unfortunately we are endangering a lot of animals, fish, birds etc because people are greedy and want to make money off of them.

Yes i do agree with you both, it is just sickening the things we do to animals. Also Wolfs, look at what is happening to them, and in some States Bears also, what are Humans thinking. And what happens to Seals and Dolphins, makes me want to hurt someone.
