I think they're a huge liability for the party. They'll energize the extreme right wing and make people like Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin all giddy, but the moderates will again flee the party and the Republicans will suffer more ass kickings in the the elections.
IF it did happen no one would defend those individuals. But, with all the media and individual cameras present at the event.....why not ONE clip showing the offensive name calling and spitting...???

Look, the Tea Party paid Palin a ridiculous some of money to speak at one of their little rallies. That's all the evidence you really need to know the party is bigoted. Palin is currently one of the most bigoted, hypocritical political celebrities we have on the national stage right now. The worst thing about it is that the people who support her haven't swallowed the gosh darn fact that she works for MONEY, not for people. And one who welcomes cheers from the audience about death to the president.
