Funny, all the video evidence says nothing of the kind happened.
Why don't you take the high road like momonkey and condemn these bigots?
These people have done more harm than good for their cause (or what they claim to be their cause - no one can say bigotry is a cause for a rally in this day and age). Hopefully, they will sway some politiicians to disassociate with their hatred and vote for a health care bill that begins to advance our nation.
As you've said yourself on other threads, I'd like to see what happened before and after that particular camera was rolling. Just because the spitting wasn't caught on this tape doesn't mean it didn't happen. Camera angles, signs in the way, careful editing all could explain the lack of 'evidence.' You're calling into question the credibility of a lot of people by claiming that it didn't happen. No one is saying that all the protesters were acting in such a disgusting way, just a few. Do you really believe that none of them are capable of doing such a thing?

I'd like to see some evidence that anything of the kind was said and not just take the word of some leftist politicians that would like to smear the Tea Party once again.
WASHINGTON — Demonstrators outside the U.S. Capitol, angry over the proposed health care bill, shouted "******" Saturday at U.S. Rep. John Lewis, a Georgia congressman and civil rights icon who was nearly beaten to death during an Alabama march in the 1960s.
Protesters also shouted obscenities at other members of the Congressional Black Caucus, spat on at least one black lawmaker and confronted an openly gay congressman with taunts.
Very mature behavior for rabid people who are already sucking at the government teat. And you wonder why the world thinks we're crazy.
No.
