I'm surprised that Karl Rove has the audacity to show his face after the unpatriotic act of jeopardizing the life of a CIA agent to score in a personal vendatta.....
But I'm not surprised that some on the Right still view him as a "Good American"....the Republican party is a sick, twisted, self serving, backstabbing greedy mess.
One thing at a time. First we have to stop the democrats from destroying the health care system, then we look into really fixing the reasons behind rising health care costs.
Lets see, 12 year reign in the Congress, 8 years with the presidency and a majority on the SCOTUS and what have they done in terms of health care, nothing more than what the health industry fat cats have them.
The one thing they did do is create a costly entitlement program that was never paid for.
Since most of the spending goes to health care for seniors (the most active voting demographic) plus one entitlement (yes despite their current rants against entitlements) that was created by the administration of fiscal irresponsibility and also defense, spending reduction is not likely to happen since it would politically costly for any party and politician.
The tax cuts under Junior were generally for the rich. Yes that 1% of the population making 250K and over that feels they are middle classers just barely making ends meet.
So either they have to be the class of fiscal responsibility and pay tax rates they did a long, long time ago (wow a decade feels like a century ago) OR they will be the ones dooming generations of Americans, our children, grandchildren, great gran,.., well you get the idea.
The real reason why Ryan's team or the Party people are not promoting the plan is, despite all their angry proclamations that they want to see the return to fiscal and personal responsibility along with gubberment out of their lives, the day you see the grass roots Party people (the ones that can't afford 100K conventions) willingly give up THEIR SS and health gubberment backed benefits is the day you'll see Hussein and Todd hand in hand in Massachusetts.
These sour grapes threads don't hide this plain fact. This great man annihilated his Republican opposition to get elected. Now he's wiping the floor with regressive Republicans.
We are fortunate to have the great president Obama at the helm! I an enjoying his continuing dominance over clueless Republicans.
There is NOT any liberal in America who could hang with Karl Rove, Dick Cheney or Newt Gingrich.
Those three are way to smart for any liberal.
The Puff Ball should have stayed home, he was already in the hole before he got started.
It's not intelligence that separates these three from civilized human beings.
They are distinct b/c they have the functional morality, ethics and compassion of the SS.
