There is some tax credits in the bill. IMO, they are worthless. What we need is depreciation increases. Just renewing the Bush tax cuts that expired this year would have helped.
Obama wants to treat businesses as a disease to be controlled or managed.
The wife and I were just discussing this. We will be forced to provide healthcare to our employees. We don't provide it for them now.
It is going to add too much to the overhead to the business to make a profit, unless we raise our prices. If we raise our price from what they are now, we loose business volume, so we will not be able to afford some employees.
We have decided to let everyone go, and run the business like we did when we first opened the doors. If we need help we will subcontract it out.

You will be able to claim tax credits for insured employees.
Nope.....they forgot about the tax breaks they are getting. ANOTHER LIE FROM THE RIGHT.
Liberals like to pretend that a "tax credit" is the same as cash in hand. It is not. The expenses for mandated health insurance are up front. More revenue is required to pay for those mandated premiums. Only when revenues exceed expenses are there "tax credits".

While that may be fine and dandy, tax credits won't be paid until they file their taxes, whereas the mandatory need to insure employees will need to be paid right away.
Everyone thinks tax credits are a simple solution all the time, but most of us who live in the real world know that saying to a bill collector, "Just wait, I'm going to get a nice tax check in 2 months" just doesn't cut it.
Provides a small business tax credit. On top of the potential savings created by the health insurance exchange, an estimated 3.6 million small businesses nationwide could qualify for a tax credit to make coverage for their employees even more affordable (see Appendix for state level information).13 For example, a firm with 9 employees and an average wage of less than $20,000 per employee could receive a credit of 35 percent off its premium costs in 2011 under the amended Senate Finance bill, or a credit of 50 percent off its premium costs under both the Senate Finance and House Tri-Committee bills in 2013.
