There are no cuts to the traditional Medicare benefit. The lion's share of spending cuts are in Medicare Advantage -- a program that uses private firms such as Humana and UnitedHealth Group to deliver Medicare benefits. Many of these providers offer extra coverage and some of those extras could be dropped as Medicare Advantage subsidies are bought more in line with the cost of traditional Medicare benefits. Medicare Advantage payment rates will be frozen in 2011 and then gradually reduced giving companies time to adjust to the changes

So congratulations to those who voted yes. You just destroyed our democracy. I would hate to be in your shoes when you realize what you have done. We tried to get you not to do it.

2. How many 'first world' countries do not have national health care?

Just asking you to clarify your terminology a little.
Probably none and we won't have any either because our nation will crease to be.

I never really knew the deep seeded hate that corrupt politicians had for America until the
passge of this Health-scare Bill. You'd think with all the prosperity they've enjoyed over these years since America's founding that they'd grow weary of trying to condemn a people whose only crime was a dream to be Free.

Obama is a forked-tounged devil IMHO. He AND his cabinet are the bane of this society. His undying ignorance to understand how this country operates has set in motion the most grave circumstances to hit this country since the GD that FDR brought in. oh yes, MUCH WORSE. And for that Obama, May you rot in Hell.

Get ready boys and girls. United Socialist States of America is now official.

No more pledge of Allegiance from me.

Well, if the country is now destroyed, there's really no use in voting in November.

Shucks, America is destroyed! The conservatives can't get their way! Uninsured people will be able to receive treatment! How disgusting can that be.
This shows just how much conservatives think of their fellow Americans. Very nice of you people. Thanks very much.

I thought at one point a "Wonder Woman" type character was going to run through and throw a sledge hammer through the screen and wake up all the mesmerized sheeple. It was truely a strange event to observe, and must have been what it was like in the Reichstaag in the 1930s.
