And the democrats acted so much better when they locked Republicans out of the meeting rooms when discussing the health care plan.

They opted not to do this and it's fairly obvious to most of us.

Blame your representatives for pushing themselves out of the discussion if you don't like it.

FYI, you are being remarkably disingenuous by claiming its a gov't takeover. What in the bill specifically does this?

To be honest, Republicans in Washington DC aren't the most reliable and trustworthy bunch either. Perhaps when Democrats formulated and voted this bill they should have thought of a potential future in which those evil facist Republicans will take over the White House and the Legislature and expand upon this healthcare bill in a further bid to take over our private lives and enrich their fat cow corporate executives. <playing on their fear> Won't be long before our medical records are on a national database managed by the Federal Government.

of course there is going to be a database.

democrats aren't know for thinking ahead and, in fact, NO government official is known for thinking ahead. what they are known for is for trying to hide their losses and shift/ move the money around, but time is running out. they are trying to find ways to come up with taxes that don't look like taxes, but americans are paying attention.

or maybe they are so out of touch that they think they are going to get reelected.....

The legislature only thinks ahead when planning their vacation, errrr, visiting our military bases in foreign countries to see how the troops are doing. At least thats the excuse legislatures used when they visited our ship stationed in Italy. Saw them for one day and the rest of the time was a taxpayer paid family vacation in Italy. No one political party is innocent of this tax waste.

Geez, the people against this are all over the place with their rhetoric. Some say its a big bailout of the insurance industry and this guy thinks people are going to have some sort of federal insurance program.

Its odd how so many people disagree strongly with something without actually understanding it.
