You dont get that 80+% of this country has insurance We all want reform that will lower the cost of insurance for all. We dont want more gov take over in our lives. We dont want something that is going to increase the national debt. You have seen the national debt right? We cant pay for the entitlements we already have yet you want more. We are already taxed at birth to death. People are growing resentful of this and getting sick of working for the gov to take more. People are getting sick of being the one to go to work.
I have been without insurance broke both bones in my wrist. I had to have surgery I didnt ask you to pay a penny to help pay my bill.
oh, ok, I get it, now you're concerned about the "national debt" , now that a democrat is in office. when bushy was doubling the debt you didn't have a word to say. where were the t-partays then?
entitlements, yeah I really wish they'd stop them to the military b/c when we get done paying 323 Billion for those new fighterjets they gonna help out alot when al quida poisons our drinking water or blows up the golden gate bridge! why do we pay more for our military then the rest of the world combined?
and for the last time, this is not a gov't take over of anything, so stop the whining. single payer could be , maybe, classified as that but even in the UK, which has had a SP system for 70 years you can still get private insurace but hey, not only was that never in the bill ... public option was never in the bill either which would be far less radical. what we have is in no way , shape , or form a "government take over" of healthcare. stop the whining and hyperbole. seriously.

yes, we have great technolgy but it's not available to everyone and at a reasonable rate, that's the problem.

You think some of these things are funny and not likely to happen - think again. Look at some of these proposed taxes.
Plastic Bag Tax - Save The Plastic Bag Why is it that the Government always goes after the little guy - if plastic is so bad and unwanted why not bann it altogether or at least go after the manufactures. Hmmmm? Maybe it is because Big Corps that produce such things are in bed with the Gubment.
This is our government at work robbing people of their hard earned money, spending more than is needed, going into debt, and then thinking up ways to suck more money from the public, all the while getting increased salaries, better benifits and retierment than those they are susposed to serve. Then they try and sell us this crap as being better for everyone and fair. Most of this stuff (all of it actually) comes from the left spoke holes.

Poop tax - your dog poops and you fail to pick it up, you owe $10 to Parks and Wildlife. Snitch tax - If you get snitched on for speaking out against the Gubment. $20 will be owed to Washington. Late to work tax - you late for work? $30 out of your check immediately. Too much gas tax- If you fill up more than once in 2 weeks, $30 to Washington.

Many Western European countries, upon which the dems seem to love to model their policies, have "canine taxes." You actually pay money to the federal government for your dog.
I can certainly see some loon advocating for huge gun ownership taxes to try and tax folks away from the 2nd Amendment.

Although funny, most of this can be applied to most politicians. But I understand how Obama is the "target du jour" so carry on.
