This is a very important step in government control. Personal freedom was lost yesterday. You will definitely be sorry someday.
Here's how it's going to go...The new 16,000 IRS Agents will police whether or not individuals buy government mandated health insurance. Since the fine will be cheaper than the cost of the health insurance, and there will be no jail time involved, nobody will pay the insurance companies for coverage. Then the insurance companies will go out of business and now the government will get what the Libs have really wanted all along; complete control over healthcare.
[quote=wjtwet;13403779You complain about people dieing without insurance and can not prove any stat showing that what you say is true. [/QUOTE]
Oh are you kidding me? I'm asking you honestly. Are you kidding me? You're saying that it didn't happen...because nobody has posted "a link" yet?
You're honestly saying that people haven't been uninsured...and/or that if they were uninsured, there's no reason that should have anything to do with their having eventually had an illness that could have been cured by medicine, but wasn't?
For real?
There are an awful lot of heartless people in this world. If this nation is going downhill, they're why.
what people?
Your the one that is the hypocrite. You complain about people dieing without insurance and can not prove any stat showing that what you say is true. Yet you could care less about 50 million dead unborn.
That is hypocritical attitude
Stopping people from gaining access to healthcare is indirectly KILLING people. Stop already! You should all be ashamed!
Here ya go then. It's from Harvard. You go ahead and multiply that by as many years as you'd like...there have ALWAYS been masses of uninsured. Always.

The GOP sure loves their conspiracy theories don't they?
Driving cars is indirectly KILLING people.................whats your plan for that?
Erm. Government (local or otherwise) safety standards, maybe? Government-run annual or other regular safety inspections? Safety belt laws as well? And each of these being continuously monitored and changed/refined/revoked/reinstated as the case may be? I mean really. You people just walk into this stuff.
But while you're at getting all levels of government out of your face, and "less control," let's let people hold babies in their laps in the back seat again. You want to cry "overcontrol"? You're going to have to look at what's already there. This is not something new, folks...but when it's something you personally agree with, it seems just fine by you. When it's not, it's the first step toward socialist hell. I mean please. "It is or it ain't," folks.

Are you talking National Single Payer Health Care System -
Everyone told me it was just wishful thinking
Hope your right
