They'll say that the markets are up because the health care bill is a great deal for insurance companies. If the markets had fallen today, they would have said that it's because of the health care bill.

Obama is damned by them, no matter what he does.

You are absolutely clueless.

The reason the market is holding steady today is combined:

Falling Euro - uncertainty of bailout for Greece
Rising US Dollar/decreasing gold prices
3rd trading session in a row that oil futures decreased

What you fail to notice is the fall in the health industry stocks -mostly insurers

Don't even bother dude. If this person knew even the most basic fundamentals of economics, he wouldn't be posting in support of the health care scam.

If SLCPunk means "punk rocker", he probably doesn't even pay taxes unless forced to through federally withheld.

Sad but true. You might as well argue with a plastic cup.

Yeah, SLCPunk is as clueless as... well the LA Times:
"Wall Street largely cheered Washington's massive healthcare overhaul Monday, as shares of most healthcare companies rose modestly after Sunday's vote by the U.S. House."

Wow, its exactly the way liberals acted when Bush was in office.

Of course Bush was far more bipartisan than Obama ever was and the liberals still whined, moaned, and stuck their bottom lips out every move he made.

But that was okay, right?

Yeah, you can always count on the LA times for an unbiased presentation of national events.

Fact is, the bill was expected to pass and losses already mostly priced in.

The markets are always a step ahead.

That being said, the health care composite is still down for the day.

Er, well, except that when Bush was in office...he was killing people.

Obama, by contrast, is getting help for people.

I mean there is that one tiny difference.
