Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minnesota, has introduced a bill to repeal Democrats' health care reform legislation, her office announced Monday.
President Obama and Democrats in Congress "have ignored the will of the people and have chosen to ram through their trillion-dollar health care bill despite the American people's overwhelming objection to it," Bachmann said in a written statement.

20. As you may know, the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate are trying to pass final legislation that would make major changes in the country’s health care system. Based on what you have read or heard about that legislation, do you generally favor it or generally oppose it?

It'll never pass. Democrats will be in power for at least the next 8 months. Its hard to believe that any voting outcome will leave the Democrats with less than 41 seats in the Senate, and the President is in office until 2012.
Americans have a short attention span, and this will blow over like most political storms. This bill won't pass, it'll probably never even see the floor of the house or Senate.

IMO: They won't forget how the HC bill was passed and November is not that far off either.
As far as this bill, probably won't get far b/c of the democratic majority.

If the republicans get control of the house and senate, either this year or in 2012, there are many things they can do to limit those 160 new bureaucracies that will be created, namely in appropriations, defund.
Nothing on the level of the piece of social engineering. Nothing. SS, Medicare, there was opposition, but both had bipartisan support.
In this case, a massive takeover of HC strictly on a partisan vote is unprecedented.
Maybe. But let's get real, it didn't have bipartisan support because the politics today won't LET the other side have a win. That is actually the political strategy and nobody is hiding that fact. So unless something drastic happens to the two party system we can expect this to be the only way anything will ever happen in this country.
