I see the mental gymnasts are out in full force in this thread.
5 dollars a week more is better than 5 dollars a week less. But do continue to pretend that its a huge joke to you just because you hate Obama, because it's a huge joke to me when you do.
Maybe you're wealthy and that amount is meaningless to you, but an additional $266 is enough to make most Americans happy.
Of course just cancelling your internet provider for a few months would put that same money back in one's pocket without reaching into the pocket of every other American, wouldn't it?
D*mn, there's that personal responsibility thing jumping out again. Just stop the spending; whodathunk!
Only dimwits think tax refunds are a good thing. I hope I don't get any money back. In fact, I try to work it that way every year because it means that much more of MY money I have instead of loaning it to Uncle Sam, interest free. But I guess freeloaders luv luv that gubmint cheese.

Your post doesn't make sense because you first say that we loan our money to Uncle Sam, but that we are also freeloaders. How is letting someone else earn interest on a portion of your income freeloading?

huh,,
yep the 266.......which is 5.11 dollars a week, didnt even cover the INCREASED BILLS from electric, oil, cable, phone, real estate tax, car insurance, heath insurance, home insurance
that 266, equated to about 1/10 of the INCREASE in bills
People seem to forget that Obama proposed and then signed off on the largest tax cut in the history of the US.
The imaginary largest tax cut in history offset by the largest tax increase in history signed today called "health care reform"
