The video as well as the reports indicated a bunch of idiots behaving like children. And OH by the way, wasn't one of the union members BLACK?

Have you been to a tea party to know there is race issues? Why do you think minorities attend tea parties that have race issues against themselves? I wonder if the black people that attend the tea party here know there is racism against them or the hispanics. Why do you think they keep coming back
Not when the video doesn't cover the whole thing, nor when you can even hear most of the stuff that was being said in the short amount of time your video covers. This attack on a Civil Rights Icon such as Lewis has to be one of the most despicable things ever posted on CD, and that is not an easy task to accomplish.
You are accusing them of doing something a video tape proves didnt happen. You want them to be guilty of doing something without evidence of guilt in fact the evidence proves otherwise
I have been to many tea parties there is many minorities that attend them. So you think they are attending them and supporting racism against themselves
Why is it so hard to admit that in a crowd of thousands that one or two people could yell out something like that? So what if it wasn't on THAT particular tape; that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Jeez, we've all seen racist stuff written on message boards like this one haven't we. It's not a stretch to believe that a few people in a crowd would act the same way as they do here.

This is nothing more than the fevered, hyped-up imagination of somebody who is at the pinnacle of power but has still convinced himself that he is a "victim" because he's black. John Lewis is a liar.

Not that this matters to folks who hope to pin their accusations of John Lewis's lack of truthfulness but, shot gun mics used by videographers are highly directional and as a result do not pick up sounds that they are not aimed at. So, relying on the audio tape of following camera crews is specious at best.
It's not just his lack of truthfulness that is the problem. It is also his inability to govern his emotions and/or separate fact from fiction.
These problems are illustrated clearly in comments he made after someone allegedly shouted racist comments from a crowd at a McCain/Palin campaign rally.

After Barack Obama became President, he had an approval rating approaching 80%. He now has an approval rating in the range of 50%. Did he become blacker in one year? What happened to that 30% of the population that no longer approve of him? Did they suddenly become a bunch of racists?
