No, not really, but if the hatred and intolerance is getting bad enough that we really are becoming a danger to each other, then at that point I'd be sad but I'd certainly let go and do my best on "my side of the equation".
Yep. I would like to see the Northwest become the Northwest American Republic our flag would be a tricolor Blue White Green. Government would be undecided but our territory would include the whole states of Washington,Oregon,Idaho,Wyoming,Alaska and parts of the states of Montana and California. We will also take British Columbia.
The only problem with splitting up is that the red country would try to conquer the Blue one, just as every fascist power has historicly done. They don't want to separate from us, they want to destroy us.
We may differ on how to get things done, but most of us want the same things out of life, for ourselves and our loved ones. We are more alike than we are different.
It is not whether I think it's a good thing or not. It is inevitable.
What, like the south rising again? I hear that one's coming, too. Aaaaany day now...
I'll tell you folks what. As long as people sit around yelling threats on the internet about the horrors we're all "in for" as some sort of "payback" for, I don't know, voting and wanting to not be sick, and meanwhile they don't actually do anything (b/c they're waiting around for someone else to clean up the perceived messes for them and not have to expend any effort), there isn't any danger of this. Human nature being what it is, I'm not incredibly worried.
I just read the first couple entries of the Homeland blog. Downright scary.
Best wishes to you.
Please tell me how it was scary? I am truly interested.
