If the states are going to file suit because the government will force you to get health insurance, then surely there can be a suit to get rid of mandatory automobile insurance.

Great, hard-hitting post, except for two leetle things:

1.) There is no Federal mandatory automobile insurance. Nor is there any other kind of Federal automobile insurance.
2.) There is no State mandatory automobile insurance.

Aside from these points, your whiney post is as accurate as they ever are.

Better luck next time.

Clearly you are incapable of distinguishing the difference between State and federal constitutional authority.

Your post is a fine example of how public school education has completely failed in the US.

It is mandatory to show proof of financial responsibility in virtually all states. It shouldn't be. I pay taxes for the roads, and it is my money to go buy a car (or anything I desire).

Insurance or proof of financial responsibility is a government take over of personal liberties.

Health insurance doesn't work the same way. Not everyone is compelled, by the government, to own a car, even if they offer cash for clunkers.

Are there any states left that DON'T have mandatory auto insurance?

Thanks for supporting what I said. Check off one state that clearly doesn't have mandatory automobile insurance.

You are trying to compare personal liability and insurance to pay those you may hit with your car and this health insurance. Typical behavior from the left. The insurance you are talking about is to protect the other person in case you don't have enough money. I don't think you can see through the Democrat haze.
