It depends? Do they have felony records? History of domestic violence? History of mental illness? Known abusers of drugs or alcohol? Are they in the US legally and can they provide the appropriate documentation? Can they truthfully answer "yes" to all the questions on the NICS form 4419?

I'm talking about the national news media that focused several news stories of a conservative with a gun outside a townhall meeting going on and on about how dangerous this was but provided virtually no coverage of the Black Panthers outside voting stations armed with clubs and othe weapons while threatening people to make sure they vote for Obama. Double standard, one was legal while the Black Panthers' behavior (voter intimidation) was not legal.
