The recent outcry from many Tennesseans in response to the University of Tennessee bestowing an honorary doctorate degree to Al Gore is just the latest unfounded attack upon a great American. As a fellow Tennessean, I’m very disappointed at the remarks being made and I am going to set the record straight.

Al Gore is a man of honor and has done much for Tennessee | tennessean.com | The Tennessean

Are you nuts?
Al Gore could not get elected president, and he found out that his dabbling with the environmental issue was popular, so he went off and made a BUNCH of money speaking on global warming....until it became public that a lot of the "experts" who were promoting it as a crisis were LIARS. Now where is he? Al Gore lost me with the huge smooch of his wife on national TV. He just did it to get attention. It embarrassed her.

Yeah, Al Gore couldn't get elected in Tennessee. That's because we're one of the more ass-backwards states in the union.
