He said he's a Republican, and it was his first political rally. I think his anger and bitterness represent the soul of the Republican Party. Their motto should be: "I've got mine. Now scr*w you!"

Of course he was a Republican. No compassion, no nothing=Republican. Only "pro life" when you are in the womb. When you are old and suffering F**k you.

Agh. This is so sickening.

The only problem that I have is that this seems to be the pattern these days, say or do something totally outrageous and then apologize. The only problem is that it is a pattern that is permeating the debate from the streets to the chambers of Congress.

The Republican leadership and their Nattering Nabobs of Negativism™ have created this hysterical political climate that is driving folks like this otherwise normal guy into bat**** crazies.

I agree, but his apology is certainly appreciated.

I'm beginning to feel that, after this dust settles over this bill, that Congress should take a little vacation, to cool off. This has all seemed like Presidential political campaigning run amok..

I think part of it is that communities have been dissolving so people lack a real connection with society.

It's easy to call people pieces of **** when you never see their face. I think this guy got dragged into that, perhaps based on media, then after he did it and got enough crap about it he realized how amazingly disgusting he was.

I will say that it being on TV/the internet probably made him realize this though.

Really scary! All of these liberals have been warning us about tea partiers getting mad and snapping. This man did it. He threw a piece of paper at someone! Lucky nobody was killed!!!

Meanwhile, liberals are posting on internet sites that they are hunting him.

At least he wasn't lobbing bricks through windows...as others have done....or flown a plane into a IRS building.

This country is going through something ugly right now.
