I do believe we should see health care as a human right. We live in a country that is clearly wealthy enough to provide health care for all people, and I'm glad it's going to be done.
I really want to see Republicans run on a platform that says they don't think that health care is a human right. That should go over really well.
You already have a right to it, you can go out and provide for it as you see fit.
The problem is, you can't use the words that your position really stands on because it works against your cause. So you hide it, twist words and meanings and play of peoples emotions.
What you are trying to claim is your right is a right to that which others provide for themselves.
You are making a case of wealth distribution, forced servitude and mandated theft.
That is the platform you run on. That is your position, that is your Ideal and that is not in any way shape or form what this country was built on.
You do not run on individual liberty, because it is based in self responsibility, a concept your position avoids like the plague.
