A spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says the bill making changes in President Barack Obama's newly enacted health care overhaul will have to go back to the House for final congressional approval, something top Democrats were trying to avoid.
Spokesman Jim Manley said Republicans consulting with the Senate parliamentarian had found "two minor provisions" that violate budget rules.
I would love for this to result in the Public Option becoming part of the bill again. Highly doubt it would happen, but what an epic fail this would be for the GOP if that winds up being the case.
The GOP continues to not get it. Now they are fighting against many of the things they wanted to see fixed, just to be obstructive. Do they still, not realize, the American people want this mess over and done with. The American people, myself included, would like to see Repubs work with making it better as time goes on, it needs to be better. Doubtful they will do that, until they realize they are making, yet another, mistake.
This shows how bad this bill is and never should have passed...The people in Washington should only pass a bill after they have time to know what is in it and that the bill is serving the people...This is just a bad bad bill.
I don't like the threats that are made, but the Dem. should understand that you can't just ignore the people and act like they don't exist and call them names like Pelosi and associates have done...perhaps they think they can call people names and when the people are responding it is all of a sudden like they are the victims.
