First step to a police state.

First they came for the illegals. I was no illegal, so I did not complain.

Next they came for the homosexuals. I was not homosexual, so I did not complain.

Next they came for me. There was nobody left to complain. So they took me.

A bit abbreviated, but folks, if the gov't can take one, they will take all.

Don't give them the power. You will regret it later.

Strawman. Homosexuality is not a choice and is not illegal. Illegal immigrants have chosen to break the law.

Why would I sign a bill telling Arizona how to run their state? There is a reason why the founding fathers chose to keep 50 different states rather than 1 big national government.. Its so each state can decide what to do and how to run their own state..

When I move to Arizona.. I'll then be authorized to vote or sign petitions against how they operate their state..

The man who made the video is lying. ANYONE can be detained for 48 hours by the police. With or without suspicion...

No one should be detained unless charges are going to be filed. That's garbage.

I don't understand... why is everyone so upset? "Driving While Black" has been in effect for... how long have there been cars on the road? I can't believe the level of outrage since racial profiling has been happening in the Black community for... forever! Please. Why are illegal hispanics so special?

Not legally. You apparently grossly misunderstand the rulings in Gerstein v Pugh and Riverside v McLaughlin.

Because racial profiling is illegal.

However, this law legalizes it in Arizona. If the officer has a "reasonable suspicion" then they can detain you, to determine your country of origin.

Imagine if NY state passed a law, giving officers the right to pull over black people, if they had "reasonable suspicion" that they were drug dealers.

The ACLU and NAACP would be throwing a fit.
