Usually when they come out about their buggery, they become less hostile. The most vocal anti-gay are usually the ones who perform the most twisted acts of buggery. Why else would their sexuality get so challenged by just the mere presence of homosexuals?

so from your attempt at logic, you must really love God.

You are so against the creator of the world, you must have a secret belief in Him.

I guess even denial has it's merits

I know. I'm sorry. That was really immature. I blame totalfark. Those guys have turned me into a jaded woman.

But seriously. Ask yourself why you care. Even if they march down the road smooching and hugging. Who cares? Do you really think you have the right to dictate how people choose to love each other? Assuming of course, that we are talking about consenting adults.

I have many good friends. Some are gay. Some are straight. All are wonderfully loving people. You have your morality and religion and they have theirs. And they have just as much right to express their sexuality as you do.

OP title - Because of relentless anti-gay propaganda by the churches and the social conservative homophobes combined with the "normal" dislike of anyone or thing that is "different". In other words the “normal” creation of a class of people that the masses can hate without guilt. Your basic bigotry.

And I assume you see no relentless pro-gay propaganda promoted either?

Let us be honest. It exists at levels just as sick, bigoted, and hateful as those fringes you accuse.

To deny this is to lie without shame.

I have gay friends too, i'm sure most people do.
They know i don't agree with their choice, they know i don't want to see them in public displays of affection.

I have that freedom. It's my belief that it is something to be overcome. Just like any other behavior that is contrary to true love, selflessness, sacrafice, modesty, morality.

I have family and friends that commit adultry, should i agree with their choice to destroy their marriage or should i be a true friend and encourage a better choice?

Well, if they keep their weirdness behind closed doors they won't have to worry about what people think, but that isn't what is happening here is it?

You do have that freedom. The freedom to be intolerant and judgmental.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Adultery is a betrayal of your spouse. There is an injured person. And end to a covenant. That's not the same as two adults engaged in a consensual sexual relationship.

I'll bet they don't mind seeing your public displays of affection at all. I'll bet they are glad that their friend has found someone to love.
