Not really. From my experience, most of the people who are so militantly opposed to homosexuality are gay. Rational straight folks just don't care that much about what two consenting adults do in their bedroom.
Usually when they come out about their buggery, they become less hostile. The most vocal anti-gay are usually the ones who perform the most twisted acts of buggery. Why else would their sexuality get so challenged by just the mere presence of homosexuals?

I have many good friends. Some are gay. Some are straight. All are wonderfully loving people. You have your morality and religion and they have theirs. And they have just as much right to express their sexuality as you do.

They know i don't agree with their choice, they know i don't want to see them in public displays of affection.
I have that freedom. It's my belief that it is something to be overcome. Just like any other behavior that is contrary to true love, selflessness, sacrafice, modesty, morality.
I have family and friends that commit adultry, should i agree with their choice to destroy their marriage or should i be a true friend and encourage a better choice?

You are comparing apples to oranges. Adultery is a betrayal of your spouse. There is an injured person. And end to a covenant. That's not the same as two adults engaged in a consensual sexual relationship.
