Are the republicans turning into Bolshevists?
Given the definition, no.

Don't confuse them with facts...

They want the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of America to replace the United States of America.

The "left" certainly do not want a "republican form" of government, as promised in Article 4, Section 4, of the U.S. Constitution.

The last thing they want is a servant government that secures private property from socialist thieves.

Don't be too concerned ... the Republicans are about as far from being communist as you can get.

These days, the extreme right wing nutcases in this country are acting more like the facists of Nazi Germany.

Seems the real concern is your having missed the past eight years of threats against either party. And that you've done little reading or understanding of previous discussions of those threats on this board.

In fact, Air America is currently under criminal investigation for making threats against the President. Here's an excerpt:

The announcer: "A spoiled child is telling us our Social Security isn't safe anymore, so he is going to fix it for us. Well, here's your answer, you ungrateful whelp: [audio sound of 4 gunshots being fired.] Just try it, you little bastard. [audio of gun being cocked]."

"What is with all the killing?" Rhodes said, laughing, after the clip aired.

For all you liberals out there thinking about ways to carry out Air America's plan for assassinating the President you should know, even joking about shooting the president is a crime, let alone doing it on national radio.

Bad news—the Republicans have found technical parliamentary problems in the bill of fixes that will necessitate changes and thus send it back to the House, delaying final implementation of the bill until after another House vote and conference committee. Good news—that means about as much as it sounds that it means. Republicans can no longer defeat the healthcare bill. They can no longer kill bill. All they can do is annoy and harass it. Congressional Republicans are basically doing to the healthcare bill what their followers are doing to the windows of Democratic headquarters and offices.

At least 10 House Democrats report death threats or incidents of harassment or vandalism at their district offices over the past week. Republicans have moved from filibusters to window busters. In case there’s any doubt that these rock throwing incidents are instigated by right wingers, many of the rocks include notes with serious misspellings. A brick tossed through one window had a note saying “Exremism in the defense of liberty is no vice.” Well, that seals it. We’re definitely dealing with a bunch of hardcore exremists. The only surprising thing is that they managed to spell “defense,” “liberty,” and “vice” correctly. Read the full blog...
