Interesting that Reagan was able to topple Communism in the Soviet Union but unable to stop it's progression in his own Country.

Don't you know? It's because American Democrats are more powerful and "evil" than the Evil Empire itself.

Interesting point

So maybe Reagan and Obama aren't so far apart afterall .. with regard to it being easier to fix someone elses problems than it is to fix your own.

Obama is so far left he makes Karl Marx look like Ronald Reagan. In fact, he is so far left, that he comes full circle to the right again.

You obviously didn't read the post from the author I was referencing who claimed that Communism has been on the march in the USA since the 1940's.

1980 comes after 1940, but I get your point, Reagan was senile from 1984 -1988.

So now blogs don't hold cred? Only when the RWs post them as "proof positive" of some new heinous crime by Democrats? OK:

Heated debate again over 'War on Christmas' claims - CNN.com

"Republican Rep. Henry Brown of South Carolina introduced a resolution this month asking that the House express support for the use of Christmas symbols and traditions and frown on any attempt to ban references to the holiday.

"Each year, I could see a diminishing value of the spiritual part of Christmas," Brown said. "It would seem like another group would go from the Christmas spirit to the holiday spirit." "

Fox News joins anti-Christmas "forces of darkness" | Media Matters for America

"It was only two years ago that Bill O'Reilly was declaring victory, claiming to have "won this war" against the "very effective movement underway to wipe out, in the public square, all vestiges of Christmas." He decried how "Stores were ordering employees not to say 'Merry Christmas,'" and said that "If I had not done the campaign, then the forces of darkness would have won. There's no question about that." "
