for the US civil war?

The bloodiest war in US history is fine to libs, but not the less bloody ones?

Yeah, I agree. I hate all those libs who sit around drinking their lattes and talking about how awesome the Civil War was. All those ridiculous Alinskyites collecting Civil War memorabilia and driving their Priuses to Civil War reeneactments. All those libs who complain about the Revolutionary War, or WWI, or WWII, and then FAWN over the Civil War. The Civil War was just like the Phillipine-American War, and Vietnam, and Afghanistan, and Iraq. Why are you libs so inconsistent?

Yes indeed, great point, betamanlet. I, too hate all those libs who hold this falsified opinion that I totally just made up to make a really insane point.

How come wingnuts speak in absolutes and present false dichotomies?

How come wingnuts are so danged self-motivated. 90% of original threads are started by some wingnut and the follow on posts get the libs involved. The wingnuts have post histories in the tens of thousands of posts. This one in a month already has more posts than I did in six and I am a fairly active poster. Everyday beta, you and your kind make an active case to never, ever, let the right wing nuttiness take hold of your soul. That way lies madness, for real. All of you need help in the worst way.

Most of the liberal friends I have, can't stand the civil war. I know, I've been in arguments with many of them this week, on the real causes of the war.

Most of the conservative Republican friends I have, are the ones going to war re-enactments, and collecting stuff from that era.

But you don't give any proof of your accusation, its just your opinion.

Facts should never get in the way of a good rant.

If liberals hate war so much, why is it that Democratic Presidents entered into more wars than Republicans did-including the big two- WW1 and WW2?

Ha! Because none of them have jobs, so they have plenty of time to post their rants on here all day...It's true, if you look at the times of posts of some of these posters, it's almost one every five minutes for almost an entire day...If these folks would've only put the same effort into making a better life for themselves through self-determination(if only Obama would let them). With my work schedule, I barely have time to post maybe 2-3 times a day usually.
