There are a lot of Obama haters here, but my question is if he lost to McCain, would we would be better off considering the circumstances? In case no one remembers, McCain also backed the bailout and I'm nearly certain he would provided additional stimulus as well. True McCain would not have pushed through the health care, but I highly doubt the economy would have been any better if he won. Not only that, he probably would have dumped a whole bunch more money into the wars. Wasn't he also a fan of amnesty for illegal immigrants? Maybe he would have pushed through his immigration reform as opposed to Obama's healthcare reform.

FWIW, I did not vote for either McCain or Obama.

I agree - McCain most likely would have supported the additional stimulus. Also, he's made his views on immigration pretty clear.

Absolutely. He would have cut taxes and froze federal spending.

Sarah Palin might have had us into a war with North Korea,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and John most likely wouldn’t be able to control her. He also might not be able to live out the four year term of office.
