Source: The so-called "health care" bill, which includes millions in new taxes on virtually every citizen, including but not limited to a tax or fine or penalty, take your pick, of up to $2500 if you do not buy insurance, a automatic enrollment in a "long term care" plan that will cost you somewhere between $120 - $160 / mo. to be deducted from your pay by your employer (unless you tell your employer that you wish to "opt out" and fill out the proper paperwork to do so.
This bill is filled with all kinds of little goodies to extract money from your wallet, as we are finding out.
Other regulations included in this bill, such as mandating that insurers cover pre-existing conditions, will drive up (not down) the cost of insurance for virtually everyone (something like that cannot possibly send prices down).
This whole package is designed to put private insurance out of business, ultimately, becuase Obama wants, and has always favored (his words) a single payer system. But you have to get there over time (not an exact quote, but again, his words).
I cannot believe anyone has to ask, "Prove it, give me a source". Why do you think everyone (fully 73% of the American people) is against this bill?
Finally, there has not been one, not one, business entity or any financial analysis of this plan that says it will be good for the economy, business people or individuals. This puts everybody in the poor house, will cost more jobs, and destroy our standard of living.
We are all about to become dirt poor because of this.
And Obama, speaking to some supporters, smugly jokes about the sky not falling or the earth opening up after he got done signing it.
This man is a real piece of work. He's a complete ass, and couldn't care less what he's doing to the American people.
The only people that favor this bill are those who shoved it through over the objections of 73% of the public.
