Wait, the government didn't GIVE them tons of money to save them from going down? Oh wait, they did. I totally disagree with it, but if you think it's theft you're dead-wrong.

More importantly, are YOU a bondholder of GM? Tell me what personal property you've lost as a result of this administration's actions.

My parents fought against the policies this man is foisting upon the nation, yet the majority are blind and are selling thier liberty for the comfort of entitlements.

Get used to your new anthem, speaking of fascists. It is kind of catchy, but I am afraid I really don't like the politics that seem to captured the fancy of Americans.

Collections are great and sometimes impressive. Collections are things, not knowledge. If you know about the Third Reich you would also know about their family values, anti-intellectual attitudes (entartete Kunst), patriotism ('either with us or against us'), book burnings, inspiring public enthusiasm for war, arresting homosexuals and gypsies, racism (what did Hitler think of Jesse Owens' Gold Medal in 1936?), Gestapo actions, Hitler's religious ideas, and various other things.
But maybe you believe the whole lump sum of fascism or freedom boils down to health care?
Of course, this works here, because most Americans don't have a clue about the Third Reich...or anything that is further than 20 miles from home.

When simple words and ideational concepts lose coherence, trouble always seems to follow.

Whatever we decide to call this new cult, your reply puts a fine point on why so many are worried - deaf, dumb, and blind devotion to a leader.

I read quite a bit about propaganda and the process that Goebbels created to promote the Nazi cause. I further read about the Stalinist propaganda machine (which created the concept of political correctness and modern liberalism- distinct from "progressivism").

This is why the modern fascism (liberalism) should be so concerning to your if you have actually studies this time in history. We have a dynamic leader who comes in the time of economic difficulty and has come to assume power for the government to levels which have never been seen before in history. Further, this leader establishes new social engineering programs designed to provide a "financial saftey net" for the downtrodden and seeks to vilify "the rich". Who does he rally to his cause? The youth. Concessions are made regarding personal liberties in exchange for the promise of social and financial security. If you say that Americans do "not have a clue" about the Third Reich, I would agree. Otherwise if they did, they would not have elected Obama.

If this is not the Third Reich, Act 2, you have not read enough. Go back to the books- that is .......if Obama has not burned them yet. I just wonder when Obama will unveil the snappy black uniforms and a new "panzer march". Listen to it again (these are panzermen and not SS, so it may not have the same appeal to you), as it may become the new Obama campaign song. It is your political heritage.

If you fail to pay your socialist taxes, the collective State takes the property. That means YOU no longer absolutely own anything - including yourself. It is the duty of the collective to impose 'safe' behavior so you do not damage your value to the collective.

America has been socialist since 1935, but it was implemented in small steps, so as not to upset the sheeple.

AHH NO.. The stockholders got ZERO.. NOTHING, ZIP, they got SCREWED.. And then when they were done, they split off GM into different corporations, leaving the bondholders with the DEBT, and the government holding the assets, thereby screwing the bondholders..

Do you want to reinburse me then for my losses on GM? If it didnt exist, then you should have no problem covering my losses on the 1M shares I lost out on..

I love it when i hear Republicans screaming how they hate Socialism and how it is wrong to give ALL Americans healthcare funded by the tax payer as it is "Socialism" and WRONG. Why then do ALL Republican Senators, Congressmen and Govt employees have health care that is funded by the Tax payer? Isn't that the height of Hypocrisy.
Another "lie" about Obama's health bill was spouted on Fox news today when they said Obama said that EVERY American MUST use the Insurance exchange programme and why doesn't Obama and the Dems use it. Well Obama Actually has always said that ANY American who is happy with their current health plan CAN KEEP IT. Let's try to get some kind of truth here instead of the biased partisan B/S that is still continuing..... It is now geting OLD. Maybe the Republicans should realise that if you have Nothing to say then say NOTHING...... God there would be complete silence in the Republican camp if they did that.
