Just a word about kids covered under their parents' policy, that is if they do not have employer based ins. available. I guess the parent would have the option to take them off and have the kid buy his/her own policy as well. My daughter got kicked off our ins. at 25, two months before she graduated from grad school, and about six months before she got a job with company-provided ins. This provision would have been nice for her. As for married couples, hopefully one of them, at least, is working.
Course that would belie all the medical diplomas on my office wall.
