Any civility would be a trap.

Democrats just threw eggs at Andrew Breitbart and the tea party express bus has any democrat come out and said that shouldnt have happened?

Why didnt democrats care about the other democrats walking around with signs calling for the death of Bush.

It appears that democrats only care about violence when its against them and by no means am I supporting violence from anyone but I am so sick of this hypocrite stuff from both sides.

When will 1 party stand up I would be very impressed with democrats if I didnt see them as being hypocrites in this matter

If true, I say it shouldn't have happened, but that doesn't really justify why Republicans refused to cooperate with something as simple as a civility statement

Why didn't the republicans care about the Swift Boat smear?

A civility statement is retarded.

This is nothing more than a childish political stunt by democrats.

There is no uncivilty or whatever it's called in this country.

I don't see any rioting in the streets or anything.

Not since democrats destroyed L.A. Seattle and Cincinnati in the 90s. Didn't hear anyone calling for civility then.

Well, I am not a Democrat. Barking up the wrong tree. I am a socially liberal, fiscally conservative person who has never registered for a party. In other words, I am a libertarian of sorts but I am not as fanatical as some libertarians are, not by a long shot. I am not stocking up ammo and making plans to move to a more gun friendly place or anything.

As for the egg throwing, I can condemn it. At the same time, I am capable of recognizing degree of violence and on a scale of 1 to 10 egging someone is about a 1 and trying to create a gas leak is about a 9 because INTENT is what matters here. Why was the gas disconnected? Because the person doing it thought they were endangering people. Last I checked, lobbing eggs at a inanimate object is pretty tame, as far as INTENT to inflict harm on other people goes.

There was movie made about Bush's assaination.

Craig Kilbourne had a picture of Bush on his show with the words "snipers wanted" underneath.

That's to start with.

No outrage from the left.

This civilty statement is nothing more than astro-turf.

Sorry I dont support or agree with violence from anyone but I see the democrat party as being a hypocrite over this.

Meaning the democrats want the republican to hush-hush about obama's disastrous agenda.

No thanks.

It's all going to be on the table for the midterms - ramming this bill through, the deficits, the debt, the spending, the lack of jobs, the stimulus failure, the home loan failure - all of it.
