Why is being a part of ANY race so very important? One race is not better than the other and I find it ironic that those that claim they are for equality are the same people that bend over backwards and support entitlements for certain races.

You could take 500 children of the same race, and put them thru K-12 schools, and their outcomes will not be the same. They could all have the same exact social and economic status, they could all have two loving parents, who all work at the same jobs, with the same family income, the same homes, everything could be identical, and yet 10% of the children will put 100% into their education, and another 10% will not study and some will even drop out of school.
The 10% who never applied themselves will receive social welfare in the form of wealth redistribution from the other 90% of their classmates for the rest of their lives. It seems as if liberals view their purpose in government is to create as many new rights to wealth redistribution for as many people of the remaining 90% as possible, and then assign themselves as the ones to deliver those rights. The more people they can convince have a right to something from government, the more voters the liberals think they will gain.
I think the liberals saw this health care bill as a way to create a new right for most of that other 90%, but instead of embracing it, people are walking away.

True. I heard an ESPN announcer talking about revenue sharing in the NFL and baseball one time.
They try to equal everthing out by ttaking form the rich organizations and giving to the poor ones. What happens? The Steelers and Yankees still win. And the Royals and Bucaneers still lose. That tells me success in life might have something to do with competence and hard work. Not government fairness laws.

Race has nothing to do with it, the majority of Americans would object to giving away citizenship to people who sneak into the country.
We need to improve our immigration process. The worker visa system is too slow and outdated, it encourages businesses to skip it entirely and hire illegals.
The path to US citizenship is also very slow and chaotic.
We also need to change the anchor baby law, it was not meant to allow foreigners to cross our borders illegally and create an instant American citizen, and then collect on US and state government social welfare programs.
