Let's go straight to the point,
I bet 99% of you guys has never ever listened to leftwing radio.

I dare you all to listen to the top rated leftwing talk radio host and post your thoughts about it

- Thom Hartmann (12-3pm ET) - (Link: ***KTLK AM 1150***)
Top rated leftwing talk radio host. Very very smart man that likes to have honest political debates instead of fights with conservatives and liberals.

I will listen. NO problem. Will get back to you.

But the righties won't. They prefer the doggie Beck and Camel riding Ann Coutler. All liars.

I was going to listen to that frequency all day until I read your post. Actually that freq doesn't make it this far so I would have been listening to music all day.

Honestly, I have a hard time finding left wing in my area. It seems like it's all righties. Maybe I can't tell their from the left because they don't yell as loud or have so many crazy things to say. I bet they did though when Bush was in office though. Whichever party isn't in power, that party is going to have more over the top shows.

I've listened to air america and it was awful. I mean bad beyond however bad Limbaugh or Beck or Hannity are. At least these guys approach their job professionally and make an effort to give listeners something they want to hear.
Air America was whining and complaining and caller after caller was just repeating party mantra. They had little or no contact with anybody they were criticizing. They made ditto heads look open minded and well informed. I guarantee you nobody would take any of those people seriously outside their little circles of like minded people. That's why MSNBC is also tanking in the ratings. You can't make people buy what they don't want. Not if people are free to buy what they do want.
Who's left on the far left for talk radio? Ed Shultz only became a left wing radio host because he was getting nowhere as a conservative. And he only apes Rush Limbaugh in style and format. Michael Smerconish only swung to the center when he started getting money dangled under his nose by MSNBC. Smerconish passes himself off as a centrist/independant but he's a mercenary turncoat who also abandoned conservative talk radio for money just like Ed Shultz did.
Face it, left wing talk radio will never get traction.

If I listen to left wing radio, won't that double its listener base?

Me neither.

But, I don't listen to the radio anyway, unless I'm in the car, and then definitely not talk radio of any kind.
