Remember, the Social Security Trust Fund was supposed to be inviolate, the money therein could NOT be used for ANYTHING other than Social Security payments.

No. I oppose all regressive sales taxes. All taxes should be based on all income from all sources and taxed at an exponentially increasing rate.

10 sales tax on everything remove the income tax and that is it.
I see no reason to have the government involved in the internet it runs itself just fine. which must be why the government wants to handle on it. TOO MUCH FREE SPEECH and inventive ideas and FREEDOM.

If we add new taxes, Washington will find some way to go blow the money. Like, they would just use it to buy a $600 toilet or something stupid like that. Would you give a drunken sailor more money?
Dont some states already have to pay sales tax on internet purchases?
All states charge the buyer a sales tax on purchases made online, but many have no way of enforcing it without a consumer voluntarily notifying the state that the transaction took place.
I will not support any tax increases until spending is reigned in and the budget is balanced with slashes to ALL government programs and expenditures. Until they can prove they deserve additional money and can responsibly manage it, they don't deserve a penny more.
I very much agree with you. No at this time i will not. Get this budget in check, and prove to me, that you can use the additional money in a very responsible way. At this point i do not believe that they deserve not even a penny.
I pay taxes on Internet purchases (New York State) already. At least, I know I do on everything I buy from Amazon, and Saks.
