Including the democrats and their "political maneuvering" to blame for the vandalism and threats.

Quote:
Those surveyed are slightly more likely to blame Democratic political maneuvers than harsh rhetoric by opponents. In the poll, 49% say Democratic tactics are "a major reason" for the incidents.
Poll: Public almost evenly divided on health care law - On Politics: Covering the US Congress, Governors, and the 2010 Election - USATODAY.com

Quote:
In the poll, 50% call passage of the bill "a bad thing" and 47% say it was "a good thing." That's at odds with the findings of a one-day USA TODAY Poll taken a week ago -- a day after the U.S. House approved the legislation -- in which a 49%-40% plurality called the bill "a good thing."
It certainly is at odds with the poll taken a week ago and the rest of the polls that have come out since passage of the law.

So that initial burst of euphoria by the democrats was all for naught.

It will only get worse for Democrats. Why? Because the bill has merely been passed as law at this point. What most people fail to remember is that a law is not a regulation - it's only a framework. The healthcare regulatory details have yet to be written. Who's in charge of that writing? None other than Kathleen Sebelius. So just when you thought that your representative did you a favor (or not) by voting for or against the bill, remember that Kathleen Sebelius and the Army of Lobbyists truly have your health care in the palm of their grimy hands.

When the details of the backroom deals used (bought) to get Sebelius on board with certain provisions starts to come out, there will be NO AMOUNT OF SELLING that will put American's at ease. It's only going to get worse. Passing healthcare was the "easy" part. Wait till you see the regulatory details that will be bought and paid for by a Lobbyist near you.

Aetna just said today that premiums are going to increase due to the tax hikes the democrats will be implementing.

Let's not forget the shoddy way the bill was written - seems insurers DON"T have to provide NEW coverage for pre-existing conditions.

The failure of the new law to get even plurality support is especially sobering for House Democrats from competitive congressional districts who heeded pleas from the White House and congressional leaders to vote "yes."
Oh buddy, not only those that said "yes". The "nos" in those conservative districts are going to be held accountable for their party.

Well, we all know that is the ultimate goal and the reason why the democrats were in such a hurry to get it done.

If and when the republicans get control, they WILL be rolling back the massive new expansion of the government into HC.

If the funds are not appropriated for those 15000 new IRS agents and those 160 new departments, they can't be created.

And which part of my post do you disagree? That Kathleen Sebelius will be writing the details, or that there will be lobbyists in full force ready to buy off some influence? Or that when American's find out about the lobbyist influence they'll be further isolated from the process, and thus, pisssed?

Please, enlighten us.
