Dukes of Hazzard: racist rednecks or libertarian minded rebels? (corrupt)

Sort of a fun poll. Based on the DoH show (one of my favorite retro ones besides A-Team and Knight Rider), do you identify with the Dukes as rebellious spirits fighting a corrupt and oppressive mayor and law enforcement or as just a bunch of backwards racist rednecks?

I'm not expecting any serious discourse from this because well, it's a political forum.

My dad and brother loved that show....I had no idea what that "symbol" on the car meant at the time though

I alternated which one I had a crush on!

I used to do that with the two main actors of Battlestar Galatica and Starsky and Hutch too!

There was never anyone other than white people on the DoH in the first place so I don't think they were racist rednecks, just dumb arse leadfoot emotionally stunted manboys in their 20's in a totally fast but dumb arse rednecky car!

The red car on Starsky and Hutch was waaay cooler!

There were black people on DoH, usually part of the shady crew that did deals with Boss Hogg.
