Is it a fact, or just a rumor, that there are at least 34 states that have, or in the plans to go "head on" with the healthcare bill? With a states repeal amendment to the constitution.

How many states does it take to change the constitution?

What exactly will the states repeal? The health care bill is not an amendment to the Constitution.

The states' appeal is that the Federal govt can't force their residents to buy a product .

It has nothing to do about AMENDING the constitution.

They want a legal decision whether Obama's health insurance is constitutional.

You don't need 34 states for that, you don't need one state. You need a court case that makes sense (not just political posturing) and someone to pay the legal fees.

Wouldn't it be incredible if that happened? Spam and ammo sales would go through the roof.

A Constitutional Amendment wouldn’t do any good. The government doesn’t adhere to the Constitution we have now. Why would they pay any attention to another amendment?

It is nothing but political posturing. States can opt out of individual mandate as long as they meet the minimum standards set forth by the congress (which is very much constitutional).
