Generally speaking it goes to the closest refinery and it certainly would put people to work with some very high paying jobs.

How much money do you think Exxon the corporation makes on one gallon of gasoline vs. the US government? Here's a hint, the sales taxes imposed at the gas pump alone by the federal and state governments makes Exxon's profits look like chicken feed.

The man that the FBI arrested for wanting to klll Cantor was a Democrat who was upset with Obama because he thought Obama was to far right.

I dont think we need to fear those on the right who have done nothing to date.

As per the link, there would likely be additional drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and in Alaska. The west coast is off-limits.

Unlike the Bush plan, the President's plan would put Bristol Bay, home to major Alaskan commercial fisheries and populations of endangered whales, off limits to oil rigs.

Not a bad idea, if this put American's to work, i am still skeptic of Obama's reasons for doing this. Wasn't he agains't this, now he is for this, is this part of his Agenda, or Master Plan, for his own Gains, perhaps. With Obama there is always a game plan.
