Very Very wrong and something surely does have to give.

Are you willing to spend 1-2 Trillion dollars and be impressed into service along with several hundred thousand other fellow Americans to do the labor needed to get it built in less than a decade? A little joke chain link fence isn't going to do it folks.
So the liberals' solution is to simply sit back and allow the cartels to move over and do the same to the USA as they've done to their own country? Nothing can stop them so just let them come on over and do whatever they damn please?

No way should Obama invade Mexico but he certainly should take control over the border from the cartels of Mexico.

As it is there is essentially no border. Anyone and anything easily cross over the border, the most violent criminals in the world control the border.

The open border crowd wants to insist it's impossible for our government to control the border in any way -- but this situation on the border is fast getting out of control because of that mentality.

Well the reason Mexico is plagued by violence from these cartels is that the Mexican government is trying to clamp down on these cartels. It could be in Mexico's interest to sell all that 300 million Norte Americans with a lot of disposable income can smoke, snort or shoot up. Maybe the President of Mexico should do what Lucky Luciano did in old New York to get peace. He formed the La Cosa Nostra (aka Our Thing) from the 5 familes and organized a board of directers with all the Godfathers of the families to sort things out. Each family got clearly defined territories and businesses. For example, The Sinaloa Cartel could get Tiajuana and Nogales and the rights to sell in California, Arizona and Nevada. The Gulf Cartel could get Matamores, and Neuvo Laredo and the I-35 corridor and the Zs would get Juarez and the I-25 corridor. This board of directors could then divide up the major metro areas of the Intermountain West, Midwest, South, Pacific Nw and Northeast amongst the cartels. Since this is NAFTA the smaller but lucrative Canadian market could also be divided up.

What I find ridiculous is when people state the we can't build a border fence. Then why is it that China thousands of years ago could build a "Great Wall" and the US can't now.Anyone thinking of visiting Mexico should really rethink their plans, people always think it won't happen to them, but that's what the last set of victims thought too.
This getting absolutely little or no exposure!
MC Cain finally wants military on the borders. Do what ever and make it happen!

We tried to warn of this.....these cartels are as dangerous as any foreign Al Quieda terrorist...they do not care if innocent victims get in the way of their shootouts. Over 80% of the Mexican police force have been bribed/bought out. These are powerful drug cartels and the Mexicans are not as sophisticated and polished as the South Americans were in S. Florida.

Yeah and the body count over here is way more than the body count that the Quieda has produced on this side of the globe

Some of you seem to think that Obama is the messiah. With all he has done in the short time he has been in office, you think he should have also walled Mexico off from the US?

Why not go the terracotta warrior route? Put out thousands of mannequins dressed as the civilian militia.

And Bush was capable of securing our borders?
You're comparing the Great Wall of China to our need for a border fence?
Are you willing to do the work?
Do you recall that people who owned border land and golf courses refused to let this fence be built?
Guess not.

Yeah, slavery is such a great way to do business. How'd that work for us over the last several hundred years?
