They're packaging ancient interviews with people like LL Cool J and Toby Keith to be part of Sarah Palin's new show, implying that she's interviewing them. They say nope, never heard of this.
A Fox News executive said Wednesday that Mr. Keith’s team was informed Monday that his interview was to be a part of the Palin show...[s/he] said a producer on the program sent an email message to Ms. Schock Monday, with the information that Mr. Keith would be included in the show.
[Toby Keith's publicist] said that she spent much of the day looking through her email messages to see if she had been contacted by Fox News. “The last email I have from them is from January, 2009,” she said. She added, “I’m not saying Fox did not email me. Maybe they spelled my name wrong. I’m just saying I never got an email or a phone call from them.”

[The press releases concerning the show were so misleading that The Hill reported it as:] “Sarah Palin will kick off her new Fox News series with one of the most diverse guest lineups in memory: LL Cool J, Toby Keith, and Jack Welch. The three very different guests will speak to Palin for her inaugural episode of ‘ American Stories ‘ on April 1st.”
Is there a reason they need to notify them? When you give an interview, that interview can be used over, and over, and over again.. Whats the point of the thread other than to argue
Fox said they sent an email, Keith said one not received.
She said it was a real American story,
She did NOT say that she interveiwed him.
They just love to lie about her.
I watched it so I know.
Um, the point is that they implied the interviews were fresh. Of course showbiz interviews are not a big issue, see thread title -- what makes it remarkable about it is that Fox cant help but fudge and lie even for small things.

are you kidding me? you're angry at fox because "The Hill" reported the story incorrectly?
The original press release states
The program will also feature country singer, Toby Keith, who will explain the inspiration behind his song, “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.” Additionally, rapper and actor, LL Cool J, and the former Chairman and CEO of General Electric, Jack Welch, will both speak about their success in this country in a segment entitled, “In Their Own Words.”
no where does fox say that these people will SPEAK to sarah palin. and even in the advertizement they paint sarah palin showing footage, not meeting with these people. apparently you didn't actually watch it.
so the next time you want to attack fox news, please get some legitimate information.
