lmao Some of you don't get it. The founding fathers knew man was fallible. That's why they put the rules in place like they did. Executive orders are unconstitutional. They knew that. They knew 1 person shouldn't be in charge. That is why they set up the system of checks and balances.

Well, apart from my being related to some of the founders, the Founding Fathers had the bravery and intelligence to fight the strongest empire in the world, create a free republic, create the longest lasting written constitution, and if you read their writings you will find they foresaw precisely where we would be today had we not followed their advice. Namely, broke, losing our liberty to politicians who care nothing about us, losing our country to banksters and foreign interests, embroiled in military actions worldwide we can't easily escape due to trying to be the world's policeman, etc.

The fact is, people have not changed at all. Humans are still prone to the same old vices, including a thirst for power and a desire to force one's will onto others, the tendency to give up freedom when some politician starts the patriotism and protection cry, etc.

I would prefer the advice of such educated men who gave us freedom, over those spouting failed ideologies based on marxism/etc., in an effort to take away our freedom and enlarge government.

And here it is folks, the core of why they do what they do. Your individual rights are irrelevant. The protections of the Constitution are irrelevant, the design and function of our government is too much of a hassle for these folks and they want it disregarded so they can implement their plans for what is best for your, regardless of your opinion on the issue.

Your masters are here, bow to them.

I Have heard Beck and I have read your posts. Beck is a hellava lot smarter.

Translation: I've been brainwashed by Beck and read your posts and by virtue of having a very biased mind I think Beck is smarter. A professor of mine writes Beck everyday challenging him to a panel debate about the forefathers and what their views on the teapartiers would be. It's been weekly and now daily for around 5 months now. She's even offered to get the school to pay. So far, no response.

The problem with being Republican is continuing to convince the people you have looted with your regressive taxes and fraudulent real estate schemes that you will still lead them to some conservative promised land where everyone will be independently wealthy and government will fade away.

One thing the Founding Fathers did get right was the comment that when a single group could control the government they would vote themselves riches. Since Nixon and Raygun the financial frauds calling themselves Republicans have bought the government and milked their investment for all it was worth.

Okay. Let's see if there can be any progress made here.

I will accept your basic statement that Republicans loot the poor if you accept the basic statement that Democrats loot everyone else to help the poor. (Both statements are not quite correct, but are equally incorrect.)

Moving forward with that agreement, it should be obvious that BOTH the Republicans and Democrats are looters of The People (poor and not so poor).

More generally, can we say that Government is the looter, the criminal, and the enemy of the people? If you can accept this there is a coalition, or at least a peace, that can be made between collectivists and individualists, that serves all people equally. Shall we proceed?

The Founding Fathers may be dead and gone but the Philosophy of Liberty that they advanced will live on forever. The drive to protect our life, liberty and property are irresistible because they are in our DNA. They are a fundamental part of our existence. No one can take that from us!

The Republicans have a big problem because the leaders in the Republican Party are supporting the UN’s “Declaration of Human Rights” which uses a lot of feel-good terms but is incompatible with the principles of freedom because it presumes to bestow limited rights to the people.

The Republican Party needs a good house cleaning!

Simple and, completely wrong, logic.
