As a person thats in laws come from Cuba. I find this so beyond words right now.
I am sure some of you will be all great another one leaves. Please ignore that pettiness right now and focus on them offering Che quotes on their phones.

Its such a disgrace
The piece you posted was written by Humberto Fontova. Just a little biased I would think.
I also take issue with the quotes. Especially the quote that implies that Che begged for his life. Since you live in South Florida, perhaps you should ask Felix Rodriguez about Che's last words and last moments of life because Rodriguez was present when Che was executed in Bolivia.. Even the Cuban exile CIA agent says that Che died like a man.
There are people posting on CD at this time who advocate "watering the tree of liberty with blood" and you do not seem to have a problem with that. They're advocating a "revolution"......just like Che was a revolutionary. Yet you are insensed by Apple offering Che quotes.
Alas, many of us, though not customers of this unquestionably hip product, suspect that most of Che Guevara’s hippest quotes are missing from this hippest of IPhone apps. Among those we fear were overlooked by the hyper-sensitive-to-hate-speech, Apple are:
....followed by offensive quotes that ARE NOT included in the app. Am I reading this correctly??

Che did not fight for freedom, he fought for communism, to enslave people. He also murdered non-combatants.

Yes, you are reading it correctly I believe.
As I said, I question the account given by Fontora regarding Che's capture and execution in Bolivia. From what I have read that is NOT the way it happened and Che did not beg for his life, which was validated by Felix Rodriguez, a Cuban exile who was working for the CIA at the time of Che's execution, and was present in Bolivia with the Bolivian army when Che was executed.

Che died like a man? He was a killer . There is nothing honorable about the man
I have never seen anyone on CD make a comment like that. Its rather horrible your defense of a cold blooded killer

Well, I don't really care about Che...I'm more interested in the manufactured outrage towards Apple made over quotes that don't exist in a 3rd party app for an Iphone.
I gotta say though, I'm impressed with the creativity.

Revolution is a DIRTY business. Yet, there are many here who foolishly advocate "revolution"......and those who show up at teaparties with guns on display holding signs saying the "tree of liberty must be watered with blood".........how impressive.
In fact, there is a thread on this very board right now with a video showing how some of our soldiers in Iraq murdered non-combatants. What's the difference if you're staging a revolution for freedom or socialism? It's still dirty and it's still violent.
