So predictable. Any substantive critism does not have to be race based but name calling and comparing a grown and very accomplished man, like him or not, is counter-productive. Furthermore, him being the first black president is a milestone and a big deal. Much bigger than any of that petty stuff in the OP.

I didn't see where Dave even mentioned Obama being "the first black president". Apparently you chose one facet of the piece to dwell upon instead of speaking to the complete article.

That is a very catchy statement and probably will be able to be true just as soon as Obama and friends manage to change the age qualification for President. I am sure they can make that one at least as easily as they avoided the natural born citizen part of the used to be revered document.
Would that be the "revered document" that George W Bush called "just a goddamned piece of paper"???
Somehow THEY just can't avoid the racial part of the election of 2008. I guess it should have happened in the 1830s when slavery was still the law in so many states. If it had happened then we wouldn't have had so many people supporting Obama without knowing anything about him other than his race.
Somehow you can't avoid spending five minutes without being overcome with hatred for the president. How hypocrytical to talk about racism then to insinuate that people blindly voted for the president based on his skin color. When counting, do you also count the people who refused to vote for him based on skin color alone? Like it or not, being the first non-white president is still a big deal whether it is Obama or Colin Powell and we were talking about firsts here. Sorry mine wasn't negative. By the way, I am not a "they".

Not at all but perhaps if you had something substantive to say rather than childish insults, you would hear something different and actually have an adult discussion.

Bad politics is bad politics,....and when a politician (especially a candidate for President) has an agenda that I think is counter to the principles upon which this nation was founded,...then his color/ancestery makes no difference. I judge a candidate just like an individual,...by the company they keep. Obama failed that test miserably.
I judge a candidate by their actions,....and Obama failed there,...both in quantity and quality.
For the Obama defenders to consistently play the race card shows their inability to defend his actions, either past or present.
