The crazed Republican DA of Juneau County has warned that teachers who comply with the new state law may be brought up for charges on encouraging teens to have sex.

Juneau County District Attorney Scott Southworth said a new state law that requires students learn to use condoms and other contraceptives "promotes the sexualization — and sexual assault — of our children." In his March 24 letter to five school districts, Southworth, a Republican, said teachers could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of minors. He urged school officials to suspend the program, which takes effect in the fall, and transfer the anatomy curriculum to a science course.

Another fine Christian gentleman, I'm sure. I have heard the term Christian Taliban bandied about here. At first I thought it to be offensive, but the more I hear stories like this, the more I believe the term to be appropriate.
There are plenty of respectable, fine, upstanding Christians in the US. It's people like this gentleman who give them a bad name.
Disgusting abuse of power. He should face disbarment.
How would that even work? Charged with following the law?
Oh, it'll work just fine for its intended purpose - that of promoting said DA in the eyes of his bonehead constituents. If a few teaching careers will be broken in the process, well, that's just a price he's willing to pay.
