You know Al Gore was the deciding vote that got China granted most favored nation trade status. Bill Clinton must have swayed him to support China over those worthless US unions, I guess. I still blame republicans for supporting it but you knew where they stood from the get go, behind big business. Democrats, particularly liberals, have a tendency to blind side you when the party tells them to.
Obama is another Bush, to think otherwise is just foolishness.

it is pretty obvious how they are going to try to "fix" the unemployment numbers. several states, including florida, have dropped the longest tier unemployed from unemployment so they can now report a "decrease" in unemployment, although those people still don't have jobs so the problem isn't actually being solved.

And, they think they are fooling the people. I wonder how these long-time unemployed folks will vote, come November. IF they were Obama voters, I'd be really surprised if they voted Democrat again.

The Democratic Party is closer to corporate America and to Wall Street than many Democrats would care to admit.

Democrats haunted by corporate ties - Jonathan Allen and Eamon Javers - POLITICO.com

There is a term for the Obama administration's practice of using their government power to play favorites in the private sector: crony capitalism. Crony capitalism ensures the special access of protected firms and industries to capital.

Washington isn't working on any jobs except for their own. Those are the jobs that have priority. The rest of us can lanquish in this sluggish economy, which will NOT improve until politicians stop scheming with big business behind closed doors in effort to get ongoing campaign contributions so they can be re-elected so they can keep doing the same old, same old.

The real cost of this sluggishness are the millions of unemployed Americans, and millions more working 2 and 3 part time jobs while they continue to wait for an economic upturn.

The job market sucks. I am in development and a friend of mind posted a development job at their big university, one job, over 300 responses came in...he had to tell HR to stop sending resumes over. There are no jobs. When qualified candidates can't even get a call back there is a serious problem. Already 20 million people are out of work and 15 million are getting government aid. Before long most of the country is going to be on welfare, food stamps, unemployment stimulus, social security....it's a mess and our government leaders should all be fired. They don't give a hoot about you, they have their nice homes to go home to, have their cushy jobs...why should they get all worried. It's a mess and it will probably get worse before it gets better.

Default Nancy's American dream

Take Nancy Pelosi's advice and enjoy the benefits of Obamacare which allows you to not worry about retaining any boring job. Now you can pursue your dream to write, sing or paint without concern for being chained to a job you hate. Just quit and move on, Obamacare has you covered.
