I have never been in the company of a nursing mother who just whipped it out and let it hang, but I guess they do exist. If an immodest nursing mother were to take up the business of feeding her child in my field of vision, it certainly would not be invading my privacy and, while it is not something I would do, I certainly would not find it rude and disgusting.

The quality of the restaurant has nothing to do with the cleanliness of the bathrooms in many cases. Who wants to eat in a place where people are urinating and defacating, no matter how clean, anyway.

Well, Katiana, here's where we , respectfully, disagree.

The better restaurants where I eat have the cleanest bathrooms because they don't stay"better" if the restrooms are dirty...business will fall off.

It's still wrong to take a baby into a dirty restroom...and UNnecessary.

So then why are flashers and men urinating in public outdoors treated so harshly?

The cleanest restrooms are still dirty. All who think this is a viable solution should take their meals into the restrooms and eat them there.

EVERYBODY has seen the signs:

"No shoes, no shirt, no service" and sometimes a discreet "Ties required".

If men must wear a shirt..........can't discriminate based on sex.

....armpit hair is natural, too....I don't want it on display at dinner.

The shirt does not have to have sleeves. If that bothers you so much, eat at home.

I don't usually check out the bathrooms before I choose to eat in a restaurant, maybe you do.
Why don't you choose the cleanest one and have your waitress serve your food in there???

What an odd question?

The total absence of logic is astounding....

Why would I eat my meal in the restroom??? I don't see the connection.

I don't use dirty bathrooms nor would I EVER take a child into one.

I don't expect nursing mothers to use them either and never said so.......so your point?
