I agree, he made no deals with anyone. I happened to like Ford, but I did lose respect for him during the 1976 Republican convention. A deal was made, right or wrong, that he resigned or so the story goes, from people who were delegates.

So far in his relatively short politcal career, Franken has introduced good legislation. Are you just against him because it is popular on the right to be so?
