He took $1 Trillion + out of the private sector to spread it around to a long wish list of liberal pork barrel projects - The Failed Stimulus.
Well, to be fair (if you're interested at all in being fair), about a third of that was tax cuts, which impacted individual citizens, and much of the rest has not been fully spent. So if we're going to say that the private sector has been charged, we should probably also wait to see if the cash injection is a legitimate failure after it has actually seen the light of day.
I'll bite. I think the college loan reform he signed was a good move. The payoffs for banks to basically service loans that were backed by the federal government anyway was a waste of money and free up billions.
So there's one.
With that line of thinking, since we have the FDIC ,0bama just should take over all banks now. While we are at it, since 0bama swore to uphold the US Constitution and defend the nation, he could do all those much better if he named himslef supreme leader of the nation and took over control of the entire nation, by abolishing the individual states.

Are you not paying attention?
Romer and the rest of his "uniquely qualified" team have said the stimulus impact was OVER. Third third/fourth quarter of 2009 saw the greatest impact. They have said the UE rate will hover around 10% throughout the year.
Those "tax cuts" amounted to approximately $13 /per pay check.

That's sheer nonsense.
We were paying those banks to do nothing. I think there's much to be discussed on the topics of healthcare, the stimulus, etc, but to say that we should be giving billions to banks who are doing nothing to earn it is nonsense.
FFEL didn't make sense. We were paying banks to make loans, but would reimburse the bank up to 97% if the loans weren't repaid.
Name one positive or good thing Obama has done for this country

He's done more good things in one year than Bush did in eight. Already, he has enacted tax cuts for 95% of Americans (despite claims otherwise by the right), signed an arms control treaty with Russia, ended the ban on stem cell research, passed credit card reform, passed 'Lily Ledbetter Act', brought up the stock market from a low of 6,000 to around 11,000 now, brought a change in diplomatic tone and renewed respect for America overseas, shifted military focus to Afghanistan (where it should have been in the first place), expanded hate crime laws, and passed the most comprehensive healthcare reform in decades (despite your attempts to minimize it).
I have personally benefitted from Obama's policies, and you probably have too, even if you won't acknowledge it.
The only decision he made I agreed with was killing those pirates in Somalia who held the American captain hostage. And at least abortion won't be government funded but he was forced to make that concession for his socialist bill to be passed. I'm Republican but I actually don't agree with the expanded offshore drilling, we do need alternative energy sources.

As have I. As have several members of my family. Two of my immediate family members were laid off at the tail-end of 2008/beginning of 2009 as a part of the general economic crisis. It took a while, but now both are working full time (overtime, in fact) due to funds that can be traced back to the stimulus.
I kid you not. One works for a company that builds bridges and other concrete structures, and she was hired back on full time due to new infrastructure projects.
The other lost his old job completely, but got a new one working for a company that makes components used in wind turbines.
I'm working more than ever, too.
This is all totally anecdotal, but my family is doing just fine.
