I am still in the tech field and I can tell you that you are wrong. We hire H1B workers to fill positions requiring rare skills, and we pay them like we pay US workers, if not more.

Why not? America is a country of immigrants. The only people who can claim to be truly American are the Indians. The rest of you are just exiled Europeans. Stop whining about immigration. If you really want to live in a white/European only state, go back to Europe and join one of the far right parties over there, such as Le Front National or the BNP. You have no claim to this soil at all --- only Indians do, 'cause they were here first.

I found this interesting. Many refugees come to the US through an intermediate nation. (ie apparently Somalis via Kenya, Burmese via Thailand and Malaysia)

33,596 Cuba
18,067 China, People's Republic

12,561 Thailand
5,694 Austria
5,353 Haiti
4,351 Tanzania
4,242 Malaysia
4,213 Russia
4,084 Colombia

Top 10 Countries of Birth:
34,301 Cuba

Of all those countries, Cubans are probably the biggest problem. It's not that they're all bad, but Medicare fraud is costing this country billions. If you ask me, a giant H-bomb should be dropped on Mia-me, because that city was "lost" a long time ago. Of all those nationalities, Cubans are the worst drivers too (Google # of hit and runs in South Florida a.k.a. North Cuba).

This kind of ignorance make my head spin. EVERYONE born in AMERICA is truely AMERICAN. You have to have been BORN or lived in Europe to be an exile from there

Where do you people get that propaganda? Since most indians migrated to America where will you ship them off to?

I sware our schools are failing students miserably that this stuff can even come out of their mouths

Your company is not all companies. I have done my research. You will have to do yours. You can start here:

Washington, Sep 8 -- H-1B visa holders (http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1P3-1124439121.html - broken link) are "taken advantage of" and, contrary to claims by US industry, are paid less salary than similarly qualified American citizens, says a new study.

H1-B visa. Is this True? - Immigration Voice

Blame the free market, lack of government regulations, & lack of enforcement of regulations. We need bigger government and more government intervention to stop this corporate abuse.

Really? It's our government helping these corporations replace American workers. They have the regulations, they do not enforce them just like illegal immigration. Agenda. It's all about an agenda to drive wages down with cheap labor for the corporations.

I love how Tea Partiers like yourself blame the President and the immigrants but never blame the companies that make the government authorize visas and hire cheap labor overseas. I guess it's not okay to blame the White American executives who run those companies but it's fine to blame the ethnic immigrants and African American President.

It kind of reminds of the illegal immigration debate. The good ole boys never want to criticize the White American owners of the companies who hire illegals but love to go after the illegals themselves.

Oh my god. The SIMPLE SOLUTION is to BAN immigration to the United States for 15-20 years MINIMUM. Who cares about the foreigners from India and China and Mexico? So what if they have better skills? WE can train AMERICANS to have these skills. Get stricter and more serious about rebounding this country or else we are in for it the longest time.Start boycotting those who outsource their jobs like Target Corporation and AOL. I am only 21 and I do not desire to live through and see my country falling apart because we are so damn obsessed with helping other 24/7. When a ship (USA) is sinking, you don't put more people on it (immigrants).

And no, I am not white and no I am not racist. Thank you!

Signed,

The Indian Liberal
