The tea Party is such a loosely defined oragnization that can indorse any candidate while not actaully running any that it will be hard to destroy. Realy it not a party at all as the democratic and repuvlican are. Its bascailly a movement.
It would be in the best interest of the democratic party to prop up the Tea Party at the local level with infusions of cash so that they can successfully primary moderate republicans.
Imagine what will happen in November 2014 if far right republicans have to go up against moderate democrats in a few dozen congressional districts.
There are many reports that these nutjobs plan to infiltrate the April 15 Tea Party protests, create more illiterate, racist signs to photograph and send to the left-leaning Obama-loving media.
Like the legitimate ones of the TP are not enough? How will we ever tell the difference in the legitimate TP racist and illiterate signs from the fakes?
Democrats need only to flip 17 districts to gain control of the House.
There are 17 districts held by Republicans that Obama won in 2012. There are 17 districts held by Republicans where Obama lost by 2 points or less. These are districts where because of Boehner's poor leadership anti-tea party backlash could help Democrats win seats.

I've attended many Tea Party rallies, meetings, discussion groups right along with my sister who heads a local group.
I've never seen any of the BS you people spread about the Tea Party.
