Why couldn't the Republican make it close?................ He spouted all the right wing rhetoric?

Lynch had hoped public disdain for the health care bill and low congressional approval ratings would help him upset Deutch, widely seen as the front-runner. He sought to do what Republican Scott Brown did in Massachusetts when he won the Senate seat held for nearly a half-century by Democrat Edward M. Kennedy.

Lynch lambasted the health care overhaul as a government takeover and the gutting of Medicare, while Deutch told voters it would provide immediate relief.

Lynch had also slammed Obama's stimulus bill as doing little to help the economy and called the president's timetable to withdraw troops from Iraq "moronic."

Come November,u will see the final outcome of all those ..."blow" jobs...

Its Boca Raton! It's the richest part of Florida. There's nothing there but rich White self-hating liberals (and Rush Limbaugh, but he's only one vote).

The district is poor...filled with deadbeats!

The district is rich filled with upper West Side liberal elite!

Can the wingers get their excuses straight?

If you knew anything about the district or all of South Florida for that matter, you would know both assesments are accurate.

There are no excuses just laughter at liberals being elated over that victory. WHOOPIE!

" 'A closer race would've added to Democratic paranoia about their chances this fall, but the fact that Deutch performed close to the average for a Democrat in the district does not lessen the fact that nationally, GOPers are still likely to enjoy big gains in the general election,' said Tim Sahd, editor of Washington-based House Race Hotline."

As the author points out, if seats like this were in play, the democrats would lose upward of 60 seats.
